The first weekend of each May, thousands of people descend on Chadbourn for the Strawberry Festival. The Strawberry Festival is the oldest continuing agricultural festival in North Carolina. Chadbourn UMC has long been a supporter of the festival which features a car show, auction, parade, games and contest and other family fun activities.
