Chadbourn UMC offers a wonderful teddy bear ministry. Teddy bears are provided to the Angel House Hospice Care Center in Whiteville NC from the church. Each new patient in the hospice facility receives a teddy bear upon arrival. The bears are dedicated on the last Sunday of each month. The entire membership comes forward and hugs the bears, followed by a dedication prayer. On many occasions, our bears have provided comfort during one’s passing from this life to the next. They are a gift of love from the good people of Chadbourn UMC. The Teddy Bear Ministry is in memory of Rev. Pat Inman.
